Terms of Service
These terms apply to anyone who creates an account, activates, or uses Cockpit. Please also read the Privacy Policy.
Acceptance and operator details
By creating an account, activating a key, or subscribing to a plan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Cockpit is a VEP product. VEP is a trading name; your contract is with 21.903.575 Jonathas Antonio Santos Costa, CNPJ (Brazilian company tax ID) 21.903.575/0001-94, address: no physical premises open to the public; support is provided exclusively online through the contact email, the service operator.
About the service
Cockpit is an application that runs on your computer and coordinates the AI services you connect to work on your project. Our website manages your account, activation keys, license, and billing. The application requires a valid license to operate.
Account, keys, and computers
- You sign in using an email verified by a code or through Google, and must keep access to your email secure.
- Your activation key is personal. Anyone holding it can activate computers on your account, up to your plan's limit. Revoke it in the dashboard if it is exposed.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and the use of your keys.
- You can remove a computer in the dashboard to free up a slot. A removed computer can only return using a new key.
Free trial and plans
Your subscription belongs to your account, not to a computer. The following limits apply to the entire account:

The trial unlocks Cockpit's features for 7 days from account creation, with no credit card required. Without a subscription after the trial, the license stops renewing and the application asks for activation again.
Concurrent session means a Cockpit installation running under the account's license. It counts while sending heartbeats and stops counting a few minutes after closing or losing its connection. Restarting the same installation does not count as another session; two browser windows on the same installation count as one; two installations (on another computer or in another data folder), even running on the same computer, count as two. At the limit, Cockpit cannot start new agents until a slot becomes available. Work already in progress is not interrupted.
The Max includes priority support. Brazil: Brazilian reais (BRL). All other countries: US dollars (USD). Existing subscriptions keep their current price while remaining on the same plan.
How licensing works
The license is digitally signed and valid only for the requesting computer. The application renews it online before it expires; each license lasts up to 7 days. If the connection drops, Cockpit remains unlocked for up to an additional 7 days on Pro and 30 on Max, until renewal succeeds, but never beyond the end of your paid period, plus 3 days for renewal confirmation. Trials, accounts with overdue payments, and subscriptions scheduled for cancellation do not receive this grace period.
Maximum: no license is valid beyond 7 days from the last online confirmation, plus the grace period above, and never beyond the paid period (plus the 3 days for confirmation). If the license expires, work already running in a mission finishes and is delivered; new tasks wait in the queue until the license is restored.
If a payment fails, the license remains active for up to 3 days while Stripe retries the charge.
Payment and cancellation
Pro and Max subscriptions renew automatically through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis. Annual subscriptions are billed in full once a year and provide 12 months for the price of 10 monthly payments. The billing period and total are shown before you confirm payment. You can change plans, update your card, view invoices, and cancel at any time in the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; until then, you retain access to your plan.
Canceling a subscription and deleting an account are separate actions. Canceling keeps your account and access until the end of the paid period. Account deletion can be scheduled for the end of that period (renewal is canceled immediately and you retain the time you paid for) or performed immediately, in which case the subscription is canceled at once with no automatic refund for the remaining period. Request any statutory withdrawal or refund before deletion.
Canceling does not delete your files. Your projects stay on your computer. Only license renewal stops.
Withdrawal and refunds
If you are a consumer in Brazil and subscribed online, you may withdraw within 7 days of entering into the contract under Art. 49 of the Consumer Protection Code and receive a refund of the amount paid.
We respect statutory withdrawal and refund rights, and nothing in these Terms limits them. To make a request, contact us below.
Your projects and files
Your projects, conversations, and files stay on your computer and remain yours. We do not receive or read them, and hold no license over them. You are responsible for backups and for the content you create with Cockpit.
Acceptable use
You must not bypass licensing or plan limits; share your key so others can use your plan without their own subscription; attack, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to our website or servers; or use the service to violate laws or third-party rights.
Third-party AI
The AI services you connect belong to other companies, have their own terms, pricing, and limits, and bill you through your accounts. Cockpit does not charge for AI usage or control the quality, availability, or responses of those services. Review AI output before using it.
Intellectual property
Cockpit, its brand, and the website belong to their respective owners and are licensed, not sold, to you. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the application while holding a valid license. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the website and activation service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, data loss, or outcomes of AI work. Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer rights.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law, notifying you when possible. You may close your account at any time by contacting us below.
Policy changes and transfer of operations
We may change these Terms. The effective date above identifies the current version; we will notify you of significant changes by email or through the dashboard before they apply to you. Continuing to use the service afterward means you accept the new version; if you disagree, cancel your subscription.
If Cockpit's operations transfer to another company, we will notify you and identify the new operator in these Terms. Your plan conditions and subscription will be preserved.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. Consumers in Brazil may bring claims in the courts of their place of residence under the Consumer Protection Code. If you are a consumer in another country, mandatory consumer protection rules where you live remain applicable and prevail over any conflicting provisions in these Terms.
